Join us on August 2nd to celebrate Exeter’s patron saint, St Sidwella and to celebrate the end of our heritage project ‘Reviving Lost History and Building Community’.
We’ll be launching our new heritage displays, running two brand new heritage tours of St Sidwell’s (at 11am and 2pm*), sharing our new audio tour ‘St Sidwell’s Voices from Beyond’, launching our new heritage website and having a celebration gathering. You’re welcome to drop in at any point during the day or join us at 6pm for the celebration gathering.
See what we’ve been up to throughout the year and sample some heritage dishes from the Cafe, as well as a BBQ in the grounds (from 5pm). St Sidwell’s Community Centre is traditionally associated with the legend of St Sidwella and the story of Exeter’s patron saint will be told on our heritage displays and brought to life through our new audio tour.
Thank you very much to anyone who has supported all our heritage work over the past year. We hope that this is just the beginning of St Sidwell’s being seen as the Heritage Hub for the eastern quarter.
See you on St Sidwella Day!
