Our heritage tours of the Eastern quarter of the city last between 70 and 90 minutes will take in key historical features on a circular walk that takes in Sidwell Street, York Road and Longbrook Street.
The tour finishes with a tour of our grounds and building and an opportunity to see the impressive stained glass window depicting the legend of Sidwella, made by Devon artist James Patterson, and the “lost treasures” rescued after the bombing of Sidwell Street in 1942.
These tours are free but donations are welcome, and can be made via booking here or in person. Bookings are essential as numbers of participants are limited to 4 in order to enable safe distancing.
