In this class focused on fresh, seasonal produce, you’ll learn how to create some delicious meals from locally grown veg. This class is perfect for people looking for new ideas for cooking with a veg box, or with local produce from the farmers market. You’ll choose to make a meal from a selection of dishes focused on the vegetables available as autumn draws to a close and we move into winter, and go home with the inspiration and recipes to make other dishes that bring out the best of seasonal veg.

This course is taught by Ali Lucas. A bit about Ali:

“I’ve always had an interest in food, and after working in pub management, the school meals service and running a whole food shop with cafe, went on to teach catering. I currently volunteer at The Sidwell Street Bakehouse baking and supporting other volunteers. My food focus is now sustainability- for health, for the budget and for the planet. I believe that to have the skills to produce delicious food from whatever is in season, in the veg box or lurking at the bottom of the fridge is the key to minimising waste and reducing carbon footprint.”
