Don’t throw it out! Bring your mechanical, electrical, electronic items or items of clothing to be mended – FREE by the Repair Café volunteers. There are usually electronic & electrical professionals, expert seamstresses and keen volunteers willing to take on any job no matter how small. If you are coming out of your way/carrying heavy items it is worth phoning on the day to ensure the right person is available to help you as everyone is a volunteer.

St Sid’s Community Gardening Club. Thursday afternoons. Beginner or expert, come and help us look after our city centre fruit and veg garden. Learn to garden or share your skills with others. All welcome – just get in touch if you would like to come along.

Waste Not Want Not: Pickles and Preserves. Wednesday afternoons. Come and help us make jams, chutneys and other products out of surplus fruit and veg that would otherwise have been thrown away. Produce donated by supermarkets, farms, allotments, etc. We make chutneys, jams & more throughout every week – get in touch if you would like to volunteer. (Please note that because we work with donated produce, some weeks we may bake or do other cooking.)

Work Club Wednesdays 2-4pm. Support with searching for jobs online and application support. Open drop in session.

Sing and Sign classes are the fun way to learn Baby Signing.  The classes are full of signs, songs, props, instruments and our magic ingredient of music!  We hold classes for pre 6 months, 6-14 months and 14+ months.  We love to see the babies enjoy early communication with their parents.  They then flourish in our small classes as they become confident with a wider vocabulary of signs, which soon develops into lovely, clear speech. The older toddlers enjoy a dance or two in class and we introduce colours, number and phonics.  Signing really helps alleviate frustration for both children and parents as well as being lots of run along the way!

We are known as Exeter Healers and as the name suggests we offer healing in the lovely room known as the Old Chapel in St Sidwells Community Centre, every Friday between 1.00 and 3.00. We welcome everyone. Healing can help us all, no matter what the problem. Even if you don’t have any worries or problems please feel free to come and chat, find out about healing & maybe experience it for yourself.

Healing can be deeply relaxing, it works holistically and is complementary to other therapies.
All members of Exeter Healers have undertaken 2 years training, we abide by a code of conduct and are fully insured. We look forward to seeing you.
