Event Date:
23 July 2026
Event Time:
6:00 pm
Event Description
An evening of butterflies and delicious food
A seasonal meal and talk connecting people, nature, and our community garden.
Join our new series of evening talks and meals, bringing together the community garden, the natural world, and the kitchen.
Doors open at 6pm – come early to meet fellow guests and settle in. At 6.30pm we’ll kick off with a talk on Butterflies and how to encourage them in your garden by guest speaker Peter Hurst from the Butterfly Conservation . Then at 7.30pm, sit down to a delicious home-cooked seasonal meal.
These evenings are a chance to learn something new, connect with the nature on our doorsteps, share a table with new (and old!) friends, and enjoy some delicious food.
Coming later in the series: bats, autumn and winter growing, Ukrainian cooking and herbs, seed saving, fungi, fruit trees, and pruning and hedging. Watch this space!
