We will be opening the centre for social distanced room hire from 17th May. With a proposed full re-opening, contingent with Covid-19 regulations, from June 21st.

We offer room hire at competitive prices. We have a variety of rooms suitable for meetings, lectures, training, workshops, community activities and much more.

Room hire is available 9am-5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9am-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursday and 9am-4pm on Fridays. Outside of these hours, room hire is available at the discretion of the Centre, and there may be an additional charge outside our core hours. For weekend availability please contact us to discuss.

For parties, we offer a special rate of £150.00 for exclusive hire of the centre for four hours (use of the main kitchen is charged additionally Total cost £200.00 for 4 hours including use of the commercial kitchen).

St Sidwell’s Community Centre is located in the heart of Exeter, with easy access for public transport. We are located within a five minute walk of the main bus station, a 10 minute walk from Exeter Central Rail Station and 15 minutes drive from the M5 motorway. Cycle parking is available onsite.

Tuesdays and Thursday open until 9pm

Fridays 9am-4pm

On Saturdays all rooms other than the cafe and kitchen cost £20.00 per hour to hirer and are available from 10am to 4pm. Please phone to discuss options.

Equipment and facilities available

All rooms, apart from Sidwella, have free access to the internet and have access to a whiteboard.

  • Tables and chairs – just let us know how you want them set up. The Hennis room is pre-set to a boardroom style with 12 chairs and cannot be altered.

  • Tea and coffee can be purchased from the small kitchen all day.

Refreshments can be purchased from our café during opening hours. If you want to bring your own tea and coffee, we will provide a pump jug of hot water and 10 cups for the one off cost of £5.00, with free re-fills. If you require 20 cups then you must order 2 pump jugs at a cost of £10.00.

Buffet catering can also be arranged through the café.
