Event Date:
18 September 2026
Event Time:
6:00 pm
Event Description
An evening of Ukrainian love: learn about herbs in Ukrainian cooking and enjoy a delicious Ukrainian feast
A seasonal meal and talk connecting people, nature, and our community garden.
Join our new series of evening talks and meals, bringing together the community garden, the natural world, and the kitchen.
Doors open at 6pm – come early to meet fellow guests and settle in. At 6.30pm we’ll kick off with a talk on the use of herbs in Ukrainian cooking, with a chance to sow some herbs to take home. Then at 7.30pm, sit down to a delicious home-cooked Ukrainian themed meal.
These evenings are a chance to learn something new, connect with the nature on our doorsteps, share a table with new (and old!) friends, and enjoy some delicious food.
Coming later in the series: bats, autumn and winter growing, Ukrainian cooking and herbs, seed saving, fungi, fruit trees, and pruning and hedging. Watch this space!
