Come and join us for our annual Sidwella Day celebration from 12-3 on Saturday 29th July!
Free event, open to all, with plenty of fun activities to get involved in.
- Delicious food from our kitchen and made by the local Hong Kong community
- Drop in workshops with amazing local theatre company Burn the Curtain: St Sidwell’s have teamed up with InExeter and the brilliant Burn the Curtain to collaborate with making a giant puppet called Sidwella. She will be part of the Exeter Carnival parade on Saturday 25th November. Burn the Curtain invite you to come and make a panel for Sidwella’s dress, inspired by the colours of our beautiful stained glass window (children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult).
- Heritage tours and displays
- Art workshop: Exploring feelings and personal heritage through plants
- Sidwella Rewritten:Competition to rewrite the legend of Sidwella for modern times in collaboration with Exeter City of Literature with a £50 book token for the winner and a free meal or coffee and cake in our cafe for all entries!
Registration is not essential, but it will help us ensure we cater for the right number of people.
